About this talk

In 2020, PHE Canada began piloting an online mentorship program aimed at engaging and empowering post-secondary students and young professionals to build their confidence, strengthen their pedagogy, and grow their community of practice. With the COVID-19 pandemic, this opportunity expanded enrollment.

Through this presentation I will talk about the following:

  1. How our mentorship program formed and why it is uniquely designed for the PHE Community
  2. What the journey of quality mentorship looks like as it relates to both mentors and mentees within the PHE Community
  3. How this mentorship opportunity is changing the lives of students and young professionals through significant success stories from the PHE Community.

Additionally, delegates will leave...

  1. Feeling empowered to mentor others within the PHE Community
  2. With newly developed digital resources that they can share within their school districts and/or professional PHE networks to build leadership within their own communities of practice.
